Features is for deep dives and longer reads. Some are written by our own newsroom. Others may be written by the companies and people building the technology, and those are labelled as contributed so you always know who wrote what.
Announcements carries press releases and company announcements. They are published as supplied and marked as press releases. EMRGNG has not independently verified them, and they sit apart from our reporting.
Learn is the education section. Over time it will hold plain-English explainers on the technology behind the headlines, written to stay useful long after the day they went up.
The news itself does not change. The homepage and the All news feed stay reporting only, and Features, Announcements and Learn live in their own sections.
